Why did you become a Nurse Practitioner?
One aspect that drew me to this career was the ability to treat acute and chronic illnesses and the opportunity to improve the well-being of our community.
What made you focus on Pain Management / Rehabilitation?
With pain being one of the most common diagnoses and interventional pain management being relatively new to me, I was seeking a challenge and the opportunity to learn more about this field. I believe it’s a great specialty to expand my knowledge and practice my skills.
What are the goals of your approach/treatment/program?
My goal is to restore a sense of order and autonomy in our patient’s lives through interventional methods offered at Advanced Pain Solutions.

My approach to pain management is integrating the art and science of healing, encompassing holistic care, and being authentically present for our patients.
How would you define patient care?
Patient care is incorporating collaborative care to promote well-being, improving quality of life, and embracing the challenges of chronic diseases.
Do you do any non-profit or philanthropic work?
I am the president of Hmong Nurses Association – Fresno Chapter, a non-profit organization which strives to empower Hmong nurses in the Central Valley, and a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
